The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

There are Route 66 logos painted throughout the entire stretch of highway. This particular one was just outside Newberry Springs, California. The road was surprisingly busy - this shot was difficult to get.

I started photographing a few years ago just to capture small moments of my life, and people seemed to like my photos so I thought I would give this site a shot! I try to do as little as possible in post-production - most of my photographs have had nothing more done to them other than a black and white or sepia filter. I don't want to take too much away from the purity of a good shot. I figure anyone can use Instagram and create a fun photo, but it takes more to get that shot NOT using the help of built-in devices!
