Ellicott City is a pretty cool little town in Maryland, just outside Baltimore. I had no intention of ever doing anything with this shot - I took it with a disposable while strolling around with a friend from Westminster - until I start playing with it in Photoshop. Came out kind of cool, I have it hanging in my living room now.

I started photographing a few years ago just to capture small moments of my life, and people seemed to like my photos so I thought I would give this site a shot! I try to do as little as possible in post-production - most of my photographs have had nothing more done to them other than a black and white or sepia filter. I don't want to take too much away from the purity of a good shot. I figure anyone can use Instagram and create a fun photo, but it takes more to get that shot NOT using the help of built-in devices!
