Another shot where I nearly got killed out in the middle of the road! I'm prone to doing that. There are two alignments of Route 66 in New Mexico - the older one goes through Santa Fe, and the more modern one goes straight to Albuquerque. Naturally, we chose the older one, and with shots like this, I'm glad I did! Even if drivers fly down this road at breakneck speeds...
I started photographing a few years ago just to capture small moments of my life, and people seemed to like my photos so I thought I would give this site a shot! I try to do as little as possible in post-production - most of my photographs have had nothing more done to them other than a black and white or sepia filter. I don't want to take too much away from the purity of a good shot. I figure anyone can use Instagram and create a fun photo, but it takes more to get that shot NOT using the help of built-in devices!
