I have a weird fascination with shooting directly at the sun. It's great for my Lasik surgery, I'm sure. This was taken at the Atlanta Zoo, near the panda exhibit.

I started photographing a few years ago just to capture small moments of my life, and people seemed to like my photos so I thought I would give this site a shot! I try to do as little as possible in post-production - most of my photographs have had nothing more done to them other than a black and white or sepia filter. I don't want to take too much away from the purity of a good shot. I figure anyone can use Instagram and create a fun photo, but it takes more to get that shot NOT using the help of built-in devices!
