I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

The Boots, in Carthage, MO, was one of the prime motor courts along Route 66 during its heyday. Celebrities like Clark Gable stayed here. It sadly fell on hard times after the interstates bypassed the motel and was largely neglected until recently. Now under new ownership, it is being lovingly restored back to its original glory. At the time we were there, 5 of the original rooms had been restored and they were a sight to behold, down to every last retro detail. The ladies who purchased the Boots love it, and you can sense that in every room. Yes, we stayed in this vintage gem, and yes, we chose the room Clark Gable slept in!

I try to do as little as possible in post-production - most of my photographs have had nothing more done to them other than a black and white or sepia filter.
